Jango Fett: Other |
 There
is a lot to say about Jango Fett's armour and I doubt that I could mention it
all here nor do I really want to. But I will describe the best bits and the most
versatile sections of the Mandalorian armour that we have all come to love.
A proficient marksman and unarmed combatant, Fett's suit that conceals
his scarred visage and strangely-tattooed forearms. His combat gear features an arsenal of weaponry, including retractable wrist blades, a snare, dual blaster pistols and other more exotic tools of the trade.
 He carries
on him a Wester-34 Blaster that is highly agile (i.e. Battle Arena) and precise.
Fett wears two such blasters that have been modified to suit him and are
designed for brief intense close range attacks that enables him to assess the situation
and his next move. The blasters can withstand sustained fire heating and has a
gas power cell cartridge.
Fett has replacement armour for much of his suit and many
additional items that can be added for particular missions. Such an item is his
Jetpacks, one is more heavily armoured and carries a larger-bore missile (the
jetpack below). Whilst the other carries a concussion missile
instead and is lighter in nature (left).
Other
items on his armour include gauntlets that shoot projectile darts, a whipcord,
kneepad
rocket-dart launches, field security over loader, lock breakers, Kamino sabre
darts, razor blades that come out of his gauntlets to aid in climbing and a
personal data pad that is programmed to erase all information if tampered with..
The Helmet contains an earpiece that receives signals from
Slave-1 and acts as a protection against sonic weaponry. It has a pineal eye
that allows Jango to see behind him and the design balances protection with tactical
visibility. The antenna acts as a targeting rangefinder that swings down for
sighting.
 Though with all this armour and weaponry, Jango really is no
match for the Jedi and is shown by his close encounter with Obi-Wan and
subsequent death at the hands of a Jedi Master, Mace Windu.
Also it seems that Jango Fett has taken up the previous Boba
Fett past of Jaster Mereel being a Journeyman Protector on Concord Dawn. As
Jango was brought up on Concord Dawn by the Mandalorians and wears a Journeyman
Protector sash and even his name is similar to Jaster (Jango-Jaster....). So
that is where Boba Fett's book past became Jango Fett's past.
