 Teyla is a resident from the Pegasus galaxy and when the SGC team awaken the Wraith from their slumber prematurely, she brings her people into the city of Atlantis. But quickly tensions rise as the Wraith seem to know the teams exact position all of the time and her people are to blame. But when it is found that it is fact her to blame, by an accident, the damage was already done. Her people go to live on the main land near the floating city whilst she herself stays as part of Sheppard's team who travels through the Stargate.
She offers support and guidance as she leads the team to those planets she has visited before and is shocked when some of the people she had visited are far more advanced than she had thought.
Teyla Emmagan is played by Rachel Luttrell.
