SG-1 Season 6
SG1 of Season 6 Stargate gets a new member to 'replace' Daniel. At first I was dubious but soon Jonas grew on me and became my favourite character - even above Daniel! He is so hilarious. I really enjoyed this season it was extremely light hearted and gets more into Anubis who is an important figure in Season 7.

"Nightwalkers"

This is one episode where Jonas truely shines - he is just hilarious! The SG team travel to a town where things seem a little weary, the citizens are a little odd and more than a typical small town. At night things seem even more strange and when the SG team start to investigate the towns folk get more than a little annoyed. SG1 find that the town's biotech company is in fact doing stem cell research on Gou'ld symbiotes and have managed to create a serum that infects the towns folk. This was an interesting episode and since I'm a molecular biologist graduate intrigued me deeply, that and Jonas is just hilarious!

"Allegience"

The Tok'ra and the Jaffa have never worked very well together - too many old issues, old conflicts and suspicions. When one of the Jaffa gets murdered they blame the Tok'ra and it doesn't help that the Tok'ra leader (Malek) isn't the most co-operative and a little arrogant (and really neat!) Jacob tries his best to soothe the Tok'ra whilst Teal'c tries calming the Jaffa. The SG team think that something else is to blame and when one of the Tok'ra is attacked by an unseen enemy their suspcicions are realised. They go in search of the unseen enemey and track it into the forest. I really liked this episode - for once a Tok'ra was complete arrogant and uncomprimising - which was a better indication of their species than previously seen, the Ashrak was neat too - very Predator like.

"Sight Unseen"

This was an awesome episode, Jonas starts seeing things, bugs that aren't there and everyone just thinks he's crazy, but Fraser can't find anything wrong, when Jack starts seeing the creatures and soon the whole base, SGC realise that something else is at fault. When the 'infection' starts spreading into the general population, something needs to be done. Sam finds that a crystal based device is the cause the problems and only way to solve is by reversing the crystals. It is simply a matter of touching an infected person for the symptoms to go away but a man gets out of quaratine and Jack must find him. It's quite a clever little episode and another Jonas treat :).

"The Changling"

Teal'c has near death experience and finds himself as a fireman with the other members of SG1 as his co-workers (including a hilarious Jonas as the "Rookie". As Teal'c dreams he realises that something is wrong and starts having 'flash-backs', distrubed he soon doesn't know what is truth and what is the dream. The only way he can come to terms with what is happening is to believe that his life as Jaffa and SG1 member is the dream. That is until Daniel comes (in his enlightened state) and helps Teal'c realise the truth that Teal'c is in fact lying on a planet dying without his symbiote. The confusion is very good, a nice change from offworld maddness - and the whole fireman thing was hilarous!
